Sriracha Tempeh & Fried Rice

You can raid your fridge to throw in any veggies. The best thing, your kitchen will smell like you are waiting for your order in an Asian Restaurant.

Method

  1. In a small bowl, combine Thai Dragon Hot Chilli Sauce, vinegar and garlic cloves.
  2. Mixing all the herbs, mix in tempeh. Rub this mixture all over the tempeh generously and let it marinate for 1-3 hours.
  3. In a heavy bottomed wok, add in oil, and sauté marinated tempeh until caramelized. Set aside.
  4. In the same wok, sauté ginger, garlic and white onions. Next add in veggies (whatever is available in your pantry) and sauté until crisp tender. Keep it aside.
  5. Continuing in the same wok, add cooked rice, celery, black pepper, sriracha sauce and continue to cook until fried.
  6. Serve tempeh on a bed of rice alongside sauted veggies.
  7. Garnish with spring onions and parsley. Enjoy!

  • 3 tbsp Thai Dragon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 cups rice (cooked & cooled)
  • 200g tempeh
  • ½ cup veggies (whatever’s available)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp garlic & garlic (minced)
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 celery
  • Olive oil (for frying)
  • Herbs & salt (for seasoning)
  • Parsley (for garnishing)
